Music is a big part of many people’s lives, whether it is digital, computer audio or live. It is for this reason that so many different ways for listening to it have sprung up in recent years, from portable music players to online collections where people can purchase the latest releases for download. The US launch of Spotify has reinforced the idea that a transition is taking place, from music ownership to digital access. This has been reported by eMarketer in their research entitled “Top Digital Trends 2012” and it is very interesting to see how the way the music world is changing.
